With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Crystal, co-owner of Salon Chroma in Scottsdale, has built a reputation for precision, creativity, and compassion. Specializing in cutting, coloring, hair extensions, and non-surgical hair replacement, Crystal is passionate about transforming hair—and lives. Her expertise was recognized by Modern Salon, which featured her non-surgical hair replacement work on Instagram.

Crystal not only offers premier salon services but also features a specialized hair loss clinic focused on restoring hair health and confidence through personalized, holistic solutions.

Salon Owner/ Color Visionary

Misael Aponte is a globally respected expert colorist and educator with 36 years in the hair industry. He currently serves as the International Color Director for Oligo Professional and spent 18 years as a platform artist for Schwarzkopf Professional. He is also the founder of the Misael Art Academy, a premier education hub for stylists worldwide. In 2025, Misael joined forces with Crystal to co-found Salon CHroMA, blending advanced color theory with salon culture. He’s also married and a proud dog parent.

Kylie Mitcham

Junior Stylist

Kylie is a stylist-in-training with a refined eye for highlights, dimensional color, and luminous, healthy shine. She is currently apprenticing under Crystal and Misael, where she is immersed in advanced techniques and artistry that set the foundation for exceptional hairstyling.
Beyond the salon, Kylie finds inspiration outdoors, with snowboarding being one of her favorite ways to recharge and express her adventurous spirit. She is eager to begin welcoming guests of her own and is dedicated to creating looks that feel as polished, vibrant, and beautiful as the individuals she styles.

With over 40 years of experience in the cosmetology industry. Sahwa is a dedicated stylist known for her knowledge, artistry, and passion for helping clients look and feel their best. She believes in the power of education and continually refines her skills by training with some of the industry’s most respected national and international platform artists.

Setha is a passionate and accomplished cosmetologist whose career is a vibrant blend of artistry and connection. Licensed in Maryland in her early twenties, she honed her skills alongside master colorists and stylists, mastering both cut and color. Setha then shared her expertise as an instructor at the prestigious Toni & Guy School of Cosmetology, where she discovered a love for teaching. Driven to fully express her creativity, she later opened her dream salon in Scottsdale, Arizona. When her children reached high school, Setha shifted focus to prioritize family, stepping back from the industry to be a dedicated mom. Now, with her children thriving as independent adults, she has returned to the beauty world with renewed flexibility, approaching her craft with the joy and passion of a true hobbyist. For Setha, hairstyling is both a creative canvas and a privilege—a way to build meaningful, lasting connections with her wonderful clients.

Enzo Armetta

Enzo Armetta began his career on his beloved island, Sicily, where he developed a passion for precision, artistry, and timeless beauty. He moved to the Valley in 1994 and quickly became a fixture in the Scottsdale salon community, working at respected salons including Par Exsalonce and Salon 103. Over the past three decades he has built an enduring reputation for classic color and style techniques grounded in discipline while always keeping an eye on the latest trends.

His greatest professional pride is the loyal community of clients, many of whom have been with him for more than 30 years, who have become friends and family along the way. He is proud to be a member of the Salon CHroMA team.

Outside of the salon, Enzo cherishes his family, including two sons, his daughters-in-law, and four beautiful, brilliant, and amazing grandchildren.
